Here is a collection of my earlier work from Modesto Junior College before I transferred to Chico State. I was using Adobe Photoshop avidly and just starting to make 3D models and animation. Most of the programs I was using at the time were:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe After Effects
Bryce 3D
In these examples I am mostly using Photoshop and After Effects. When I transferred to Chico State I dropped Bryce and began using Autodesk Maya for 3D models, Animations, and Particle Effects.
My first project with After Effects which was to key-frame the different shapes to move at different speeds while rotating differently from each other.
My second project was to cut up a 2D picture and keyframe the individual pieces to spread apart as if you were moving through the scene in a 3D space. This technique is used commonly with documentaries who choose to liven up still pictures by producing a 3D space as I have shown in my example.

Final for the Semeter was to make a short film using After Effects. I added sounds from the internet and made all the layers in Photoshop.
